International students in Singapore are not allowed to work part-time, unless and until internship is a part of their curriculum.

9. Post Study Work in Singapore

Students cannot stay on in Singapore on their Student Pass to look for a job like in some European countries or USA. But does that mean that students have to come back to India after completing their education? The answer is…not necessarily. One to three months of stay back option is available to students. Students can apply for and get a non-renewable Long-Term Visit Pass of one year to stay on in Singapore to look for relevant employment, provided, you have completed your education from a recognized and approved Institute of Higher Learning.

11. Visa Process

Singapore student pass requirements for Indian in same order as given hereunder:

  • International student application form.
  • Passport.
  • One Passport size photo (less than 6 months old).
  • Visa application fee.
  • Bank Statements – ORIGINAL for the last 28 days from all sponsors.
  • Transcripts (Mark sheets -from 10th class till the last degree obtained).
  • Affidavit of Support to be given by the sponsor on Rs.20 stamp paper (non-judicial).
  • Work experience certificate.
  • Fixed Deposit Receipts (if necessary).
  • Bank loan sanction letter (if necessary).

Applicants are encouraged to apply at least 2 months before the commencement of the course.
If the required documents are not in the English language, officially translated versions, as well as copies in the original language, are required.

12. Average Graduate Incomes
  • SGD40000 per annum = Approx20 Lacs per annum.
